About Force Motors Cars

Force Motors Limited is the flagship company of the Firodia Group. The group has an extensive experience in the automotive domain spanning over 60 years. Its founder, late Shri N.K. Firodia gave the term ‘Autorickshaw’ to the world which is now in the Oxford Dictionary. The company is a pioneer in India's LCV industry and is well-known for commercial products. It introduced the Tempo Matador (the first diesel LCV in India), Minidor, and the Traveller. Over the last five decades, it has partnered with global manufacturers including Daimler, ZF, Bosch and MAN.

In 2015, Force Motors inaugurated its new facility in Chennai. It produces and tests engines for all BMW cars and SUVs made in India. In 2016, Force Motors allied with Mercedes-Benz, producing axles and engines for all Mercedes-Benz cars made in India.

Force Motors is predominantly a player in the CV segment. Their first new car in India was the Force One, launched in 2011. In 2013, it launched a tough off-road vehicle, the Gurkha, which completes the company’s 2018 passenger vehicle product line-up. As of 2018, Force has more than 40 dealerships across India.
