Exterior

The Urus looks outlandish, to say the least. It has a lot of angular design cues and sharp cuts in the bodywork that makes it right on the price. Lamborghini Urus, up-front, it gets large air dams, giving it an aggressive look. There are lots of 'Y'-shaped elements for detailing, in the doors, LED running lights, tail lamps and wheel spokes. The headlamps look slender and very modern. The side profile boasts of a strong shoulder line, and flared wheel arches house massive 22-inch alloy wheels. At the rear too, the Urus looks like a proper Lamborghini, with all those angular cuts and definitions and of course, the sleek tail lamps as well. Thanks to the air suspension, the Urus' ride height can be adjusted, and so the stance changes as well.

Variants

The Lamborghini Urus variants are as follows: Twin-Turbo V8. Features include rear parking camera, rear parking sensors, cruise control, paddle-shifters, climate control, steering-mounted audio controls, automatic headlamps, cornering lights and rain-sensing wipers. On the safety front, it gets ABS, EBD, ESP, traction control, brake assist, hill assist and airbags all around.

Interior

A lot of details in the cabin of the Urus look aviation-inspired. The dashboard is huge and modern with the centre console consisting of all kinds of levers and toggle switches – as you would expect from a car that costs as much as Lamborghini Urus on-road price. There's also the dual-touchscreen infotainment and HVAC control unit. The gear selector is operated via some levers and buttons to help you get to reverse, park, neutral and manual. And the paddle-shifters are attached to the steering wheel. The levels of fit and finish are top-notch, while legroom isn't so bad either. Headroom, however, isn't great, thanks to the sloping roofline. From the adjustable driver's seat, the view is great, and the Virtual Cockpit layout works well. And the seats provide good support. At 616 litres, boot space is good as well.

Engine Specifications & Performance

The Lamborghini Urus is powered by a 4.0-litre, twin-turbo V8 that makes 650bhp and 850Nm of torque. Paired to the engine is an 8-speed ZF torque converter automatic transmission. The Lamborghini Urus new model manages the 0-100kph sprint in just 3.6 seconds. In Strada mode, the Urus is refined, while the throttle is perfectly manageable and the gearbox works smoothly. It even tackles bad roads without much effort, thanks to the air suspension. In Sport mode, the engine is lot livelier and the exhausts sound louder, while the steering is heavier too. The Urus also corners well, thanks to the combination of rear-wheel steering, active anti-roll bars and active torque vectoring. In Corsa mode, the Urus feels more alert and more supercar-like.

The Lamborghini Urus' ARAI-certified fuel efficiency figure is rated at 8kmpl for the petrol twin-turbo V8 variant.
