<p>Priced at Rs 4.05 crore, the price of the 911 Turbo 50 Years edition is more than that of the current Turbo S (Rs 3.35 crore) by about Rs&nbsp;7 lakh. Furthermore,&nbsp;it also costs Rs&nbsp;2 crore more than the 911 Carrera base model (Rs 1.99 crore) and roughly Rs&nbsp;1.26 crore more than the Carrera 4 GTS (Rs 2.75 crore). All mentioned prices are ex-showroom figures.</p>

<p>Notably,&nbsp;the 911 Carrera and Carrera 4 GTS available in India are built on the current 992.2 generation of the 911, whereas the 50 Years Edition and Turbo S are based on the previous 992.1 generation.</p>

Codenamed 992.2, the upcoming Porsche 911 Hybrid sports car will get a retuned twin-turbo&nbsp;six-cylinder engine with an electric motor expected to draw power from&nbsp;a small, lightweight lithium-ion battery pack. The former will drive the rear wheels, while the latter will power the front wheels, hence the all-wheel-drive system.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The Porsche 911's hybrid system comprises&nbsp;a new 400-volt electrical system, an integrated starter-generator powered by a&nbsp;48-volt electrical&nbsp;system, an electric motor, and a battery. Although the Stuttgart-based carmaker has yet to reveal the output of the hybrid setup, expect the Porsche 911 Hybrid to develop over 465bhp.</p>

<h2>2024 Porsche 911ST: What to Expect?</h2>

The new ST is based on the Porsche 911 GT3 Touring. Aside from the extra panel placed behind the front wheels, the front end appears unchanged. Something like this may be seen on the 911 GT3 RS prototypes, although in a tamer form. Similar to the newly released Sport Classic, this ST has a double-bubble roof.</p>

<p>The car is powered by a 4.0-litre flat-six engine that outputs 542bp. It breaches a tonne in just 3.2 seconds and goes on to reach up to 296kmph. The engine is mated to, according to Porsche, an improved 7-speed dual-clutch. It has one gear less and shorter gear ratios as against the standard 911. <p>Aerodynamics is the name of the game in the new Porsche 911 GT3 RS. The new model produces more than twice the downforce of its predecessor and three times more than the existing <a href="https://www.autox.com/new-cars/porsche/911-gt3/" target="_blank">911 GT3</a>. Porsche says that at 200kmph, the car is capable of producing 409kg of downforce which increased to 806kg at 284kmph.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Somewhere while making it more aerodynamic, the car lost its boot. The new GT3 RS is the first road-going car that gets a radiator positioned centrally in its nose. This was first used in the brand’s Le Mans winning 911 RSR.&nbsp;</p>

New Porsche 911 GT3 RS launched at Rs 3.25 crore

Porshe has globally launched the 911 GT3 RS at Rs 3.25 crore (ex-showroom). The car comes as the ultimate track weapon from the brand with impressive aerodynamic capabilities and some more.

<p>Spyshots of the next-gen <a href="https://www.autox.com/new-cars/porsche/" target="_blank">Porsche</a> 911 GT3 RS have already become stale news. We know that the car is almost out of the pipeline and now the company has confirmed August 17 as the official date for the unveiling.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Apart from the design cues that we gathered from the spy shots, major details are still kept locked. However, we do know that the car will be powered by a 4.0-litre flat-six engine that will output 520hp and will be capable of revving to 9,500rpm.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“The new 911 GT3 RS is even more optimised for track use than its predecessors. The spontaneously responsive, high-revving four-litre, six-cylinder boxer engine with approximately 500 PS has proven ideal for use at track days and club sport events,” Andres Preuninger, Porsche GT Model Line director, said in a statement. “That’s why we focused primarily on aerodynamics and chassis questions in the development of the new 911 GT3 RS.”</p>

<p>The teaser image put out by the company shows a prototype of the new <a href="https://www.autox.com/new-cars/porsche/911/">911 </a>GT3 RS at what seems to be the Nurburgring. Design cues for the new GT3 RS come in the form of new pair of vertical fins on either side of the bumper that will be added for improved aerodynamics, front fender vents for additional aero behind the front wheel, and an intake in the rear fenders.</p>

<p>The GT3 RS has been the meanest of all the 911s in Porsche lineup, holding handful records at the Nurburgring. In its new avatar, Porsche is planning to further kick things up a notch and we cannot wait.</p>
