<p>Tata Motors has launched the 2026 Tiago facelift EV in India at an introductory price of Rs 6.99 Lakh (ex-showroom). The <a href="https://www.autox.com/hatchback-cars-in-india/">hatchback</a> continues to target urban buyers looking for an affordable daily commuter with multiple fuel choices, including a battery-as-a-service option for the EV.</p><h2><strong>Tata Tiago EV: Design  </strong></h2><p>The most noticeable change on the 2026 Tiago EV is at the front. The hatchback now features a redesigned fascia with sleek LED headlamps, new brow-like LED DRLs and a closed-off body-coloured grille that gives it a cleaner EV-specific appearance. Tata has also revised the bumper with new faux air vents positioned at the edges, while the updated design helps give the hatchback a wider visual stance.</p><p>

Other exterior highlights include a dual-tone black roof, a shark-fin antenna and chrome-finished door handles that add a fresh touch to the hatchback’s updated design.</p><p>From the side, the familiar silhouette remains unchanged, retaining the compact proportions of the Tiago EV. However, Tata has introduced redesigned 15-inch wheels along with contrasting black cladding around the wheel arches. The updated Tiago EV is available in six exterior colour options: Dehradun Dew, Sobo Surge, Pangong Pulse, Matheran Monsoon, Pure Grey and Pristine White.</p><h2><strong>Tata Tiago EV: Interior And Features</strong></h2><p>The biggest upgrade in the Tiago’s interior is the addition of a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system paired with a fully digital instrument cluster. Tata has also introduced a 360-degree camera system, a feature that is slowly becoming a key expectation even in compact cars.</p><p>

    <h2><strong>2026 Tata Tiago Facelift EV: Powertrain</strong></h2><p class="isSelectedEnd"><span>The Tiago EV also continues with City, Drive and Sport modes along with four levels of regenerative braking. Once you get used to the regen settings, the car becomes quite easy to drive in stop-go traffic.</span></p><p class="isSelectedEnd"><span>Range figures have changed slightly for 2026. Tata now claims 285km for the 24kWh version and 226km for the 19.2kWh model. Real-world range, however, is expected to be closer to 210km and 165km, respectively.</span></p><p class="isSelectedEnd"><span>Charging is quicker now as well. Tata says the Tiago EV can add around 100km of range in just 18 minutes. Using a 30kW DC fast charger, both battery packs can charge from 10 to 80 per cent in around 35 minutes.
