BMW Motorrad will soon introduce the 2022 G 310 R in the Indian market. The brand has already started accepting bookings for the same.

BMW Motorrad India has started accepting bookings for its upcoming 2022 G 310R. The updated street naked motorcycle will be offered with new colour schemes. The two new colour schemes will include a combination of White and Red and an all-Black colour scheme.

The price of the outgoing model is marked at Rs 2.60 lakh (ex-showroom). The 2022 G 310 R is likely to see a price hike of Rs 5,000-10,000. An official price announcement is expected in the month of September 2021.

Mechanically, the BMW G 310 R will continue to be the same as its predecessor. The same 312cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine will be on offer with an unchanged state of tune. The power output will be 33.5bhp and 28Nm of peak torque. A six-speed gearbox with a slipper-clutch assembly will forward power to the wheel. The suspension system will be carried forward along with the braking hardware. The feature list of the updated G 310 R will be identical to the outgoing model.

The 2022 BMW G 310 R will continue to rival the KTM 390 Duke that is priced at Rs 2.54 lakh (ex-showroom). The 390 Duke has a marginally lower price tag but offers a larger engine and more power output. The feature list of the 390 Duke is more impressive when compared to the BMW G 310 R. However, the BMW G 310 R offers a premium brand association.
