2023 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Highway King Breaks Cover Globally, Gets 1968 FLH Electra-Inspired Design

The 2023 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Highway King is now off the wraps. The latest iteration will be available in limited numbers across the globe, making them highly exclusive. Only 1,750 units of the Electra Glide Highway King will go on sale. The limited-edition bike is the third model to join the legendary bikemaker's 'Icons Motorcycle' collection, after the Electra Glide Revival (2021) and the Low Rider El Diablo (2022). The Electra Glide Highway King for the model year 2023 is inspired by the 1968 FLH Electra Glide, in terms of its design elements. It gets its power from a 1,868cc Milwauke-Eight 114, V-twin engine that is good enough to make 94bhp. As for the bikemaker's plans to launch the latest model in our market, there is no official word from them yet, but the limited-run bike might make its way in India if we believe some industry reports.

2023 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Highway King: Design Details

In terms of design, the 2023 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Highway King looks more or less identical to the 1968 FLH Electra Glide model. It's gone retro and features circular chrome headlights, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, a large dual-tone windshield, a pulled-back handlebar, a floating single seat, lockable panniers, and dual exhausts. The motorcycle sits on wire-spoked wheels wrapped in whitewall tyres.

Among other cosmetic changes, the latest Electra Glide Highway King gets two paint options - Hi-Fi Orange and Hi-Fi Magenta, along with a dose of Birch White pinstripes and Black denim finishing touches.

2023 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Highway King: Powertrain & Gearbox

The 2023 avatar of the Electra Glide Highway King comes with a large Milwaukee-Eight 114 motor. Displacing 1,868cc from a V-twin, the motor generates 94bhp of maximum power and 165Nm of peak torque. This engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.

2023 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Highway King: Hardware, Safety Equipment

The suspension setup of the 2023 model comprises telescopic forks at the front and an adjustable mono-shock at the rear. As far as safety goes, the Electra Glide Highway King is equipped with traction control, cornering ABS, cruise control, ride-by-wire throttle, and Brembo disc brakes at both ends.

No pricing details are available as of now. But for reference, the standard Harley-Davidson Electra Glide is priced at Rs 24.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
