2024 KTM 390 Duke Unveiled Globally with Revised Styling and Bigger Engine

The eagerly-anticipated 2024 KTM 390 Duke has finally been unveiled for the international market. Globally, the revamped model has arrived with significant cosmetic alterations in addition to engine modification. Post the update, the bike has a new split seat design, a wider LED headlight, and larger fuel tank shrouds. Additionally, it also features a bigger 399cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. Although the power figures have not yet been made public, we anticipate that they will be greater with the new 390 Duke. It has a slipper clutch, a quickshifter, and a six-speed gearbox. There are no updates on the two-wheeler from KTM India, despite the fact that it has recently been made public on the worldwide website. We anticipate that the company may also present the vehicle here. If it does, the bike might fetch a higher asking price than the current version.

2024 KTM 390 Duke: Appearance

KTM has made multiple aesthetic modifications to the 390 Duke. The 2024 iteration is more muscular than the previous model. Its boomerang-shaped DRLs seem bolder than earlier, and its LED headlamp looks much wide than it did previously. The design of the gasoline tank has also been revised. Further, it gets a brand-new split seat design with an exposed rear subframe. All in all, the 2024 model is larger than the 2023 version.

2024 KTM 390 Duke: Hardware

The KTM 390 Duke has undergone hardware changes as well. The 2024 edition features a new powder-coated steel trellis frame with 43mm USD front forks with rebound and compression control, and preload and rebound adjustment for the monoshock.

A new 320mm front disc, a 240mm rear disc, dual-channel, cornering, and Supermoto ABS are part of the braking system. The two-wheeler will roll on a pair of 17-inch alloy wheels with Michelin tyres. It should be noted that these specifics may change for India depending on market and road requirements. 

2024 KTM 390 Duke: Engine & Features 

Speaking of the engine, the motorcycle will have a bigger 399cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled motor. The output of this engine has not been revealed but market reports believe that the specifics will likely be more than earlier.

Aside from this, the new 390 Duke gets more riding aids from KTM. It includes a five-inch TFT to monitor all the settings, launch control, and ride modes (street, rain, and track). Other feature highlights will be turn-by-turn navigation, call and audio control, smartphone connectivity, and more.
