Ducati has launched the 2025 Streetfighter V2 in India at Rs 17.50 lakh, after introducing the Panigale V2 (Rs 19.12 lakh) last month (both made their debut at EICMA 2024). Like its supersport sibling, the mid-capacity naked bike is powered by an 890cc, 90-degree V-twin engine, which weighs just 54.4 kg, and is Ducati's lightest twin-cylinder unit to date. Typical of the Italian marque’s nakeds, the new Streetfighter retains its aggressive look. Its exposed frame and minimalist design enhance the bike’s muscular aesthetics. It is available in India in Ducati Red and also has a higher-spec V2 S variant, priced at Rs 19.49 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom.
Commenting on the launch, Mr. Bipul Chandra, Managing Director, Ducati India, said, 'The Ducati Streetfighter V2 perfectly embodies our renowned ‘Fight Formula’, a testament to Ducati's commitment to pushing the boundaries of design and performance. We are absolutely thrilled to introduce this 'naked-Panigale' to India. This motorcycle masterfully blends the raw, exhilarating soul of a superbike with the versatility and comfort needed for everyday riding. With its aggressive styling, all-new potent V2 engine, and comprehensive electronics, the Streetfighter V2 is engineered to deliver a truly intuitive, lively, and distinctive riding experience, perfectly capturing its spirit!'
The new Streetfighter V2 sticks to the bold, aggressive design of its family. The face looks recognisable with sharp full-LED headlights and DRL. The rear flows seamlessly from the seat to the tail, creating a monolithic, race-inspired look reminiscent of Ducati’s Desmosedici MotoGP bikes. Other details include variable-section aluminium handlebar, adjustable brake and clutch levers, ergonomically shaped footpegs, and new black six-spoke alloy wheels with a Y-shaped pattern. The seat height stands at 838mm.

The Ducati Streetfighter V2 boasts advanced rider aids and customisation. Equipped with a six-axis inertial measurement unit, Ducati's naked machine boasts cornering ABS, predictive traction control, wheelie control, and engine brake management. Riders can choose from four modes (Race, Sport, Road, and Wet). The Streetfighter V2 features a 5-inch TFT display with three customisable layouts (Road Pro and Track).
Riders can further enhance performance or convenience with Ducati accessories, including racing exhausts, cruise control, Lap Timer Pro, navigation, USB charging, and tyre pressure monitoring. The V2 S adds track-ready features like Ducati Power Launch and a pit limiter.
The Streetfighter V2 packs an 890cc, 90-degree V2 engine that delivers 119bhp at 10,750rpm and 93.3Nm of torque at 8,250rpm, with over 70% of peak torque available from just 3,000rpm for instant throttle response. Track-focused riders can opt for a racing exhaust, boosting output to 125 bhp while shedding 4.5 kg. The bike has a six-speed gearbox with Ducati Quick Shift 2.0 for seamless upshifts and an oil-bath slipper clutch for smooth lever action. It uses a lightweight monocoque frame and has a dry weight of just 175 kg (V2 S) and 178 kg (V2).
