Hero MotoCorp has introduced the 2025 HF 100 at an ex-showroom price of Rs 60,118, reflecting a modest hike of Rs 1,100, lower than the Rs 1,750 increase applied to models like the Splendor and Passion Plus. This revision is part of a broader update to the company’s commuter lineup, which has recently welcomed refreshed versions of popular models such as the Glamour and Splendor Plus. Offered in a single variant, the HF 100 is available in two dual-tone colour schemes: Black with Blue and Black with Red. While there are no significant cosmetic changes, the commuter bike is now equipped with onboard diagnostics (OBD2B) for real-time emissions monitoring, ensuring compliance with the latest government norms. With its fuel-efficient engine, lightweight construction, and practical design, the HF 100 continues to cater to budget-conscious riders.
Despite the price change, the HF 100 remains mechanically unchanged. It retains the trusted 97.2cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 8bhp of maximum power and 8.05Nm of peak torque, paired with a four-speed gearbox. Renowned for its mileage, the bike continues to deliver an impressive fuel efficiency of around 70km/l.

The HF 100 continues to be underpinned by a double cradle frame – the same as that used in the Splendor Plus and Passion Plus. The suspension setup includes telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear, supported by drum brakes and 18-inch alloy wheels.
In terms of features, the motorcycle sticks to basics, offering an analogue instrument cluster and halogen lighting throughout. However, it does integrate the brand’s XSense tech, which includes features like a side-stand engine cut-off for enhanced safety and an engine start/stop system.

Aimed squarely at the entry-level commuter segment, the HF 100 goes up against the likes of the TVS Radeon, Bajaj Platina 100, and Honda Shine 100. With its updated compliance, unchanged reliability, and competitive pricing, Hero MotoCorp is reinforcing its dominance in the budget commuter space.
