Hero MotoCorp appears to be gearing up for the reintroduction of its Mavrick 440, and recent developments suggest the launch is imminent. The motorcycle was spotted during what seemed to be a TV commercial shoot, signalling that it could soon make its official debut. The Mavrick 440 is currently not on sale in India, having been discontinued a few months ago, making its return all the more significant for the brand’s premium line-up. The new iteration of Hero’s flagship 440cc roadster shows clear refinements in design and hardware. Among the noticeable updates are an upside-down (USD) front fork, a bronze-painted engine cover, and a new matte grey colour option. These changes indicate Hero’s intention to add more value and sophistication to its mid-capacity motorcycle portfolio while strengthening its foothold in the 400cc segment.

The primary mechanical upgrade for the 2025 Mavrick 440 is the introduction of USD front forks, replacing the conventional telescopic ones used previously. This new setup is expected to improve front-end stability, ride quality, and overall handling, particularly around corners. The addition aligns the Mavrick 440 more closely with other premium motorcycles in the same segment, reflecting Hero’s strategy to meet the rising expectations of enthusiasts seeking improved performance and control.

On the visual front, the updated Mavrick 440 adopts a matte grey paint scheme, moving away from the glossy finish of its predecessor. The bronze engine cover adds a distinctive touch while echoing the styling cues seen on the concept version displayed at EICMA 2024. These design adjustments lend the motorcycle a cleaner, more modern appearance without losing its original stance and proportion.
Hero MotoCorp is also expected to introduce a new TFT digital instrument cluster on the 2025 model, offering features such as Bluetooth connectivity and improved readability. Beneath the refreshed exterior, the motorcycle continues with the same 440cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine that generates around 27bhp and 36Nm of torque. Subtle tuning changes are expected for smoother delivery and enhanced efficiency, ensuring a more refined riding experience.
