The Kawasaki Versys-X 300 is back in the sub-500cc adventure touring segment with a price tag of Rs 3.80 lakh (ex-showroom). While now nearly Rs 1 lakh cheaper than before, the ADV still remains a pricier option in its segment, which includes the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 (Rs 2.85 lakh) and the KTM 390 Adventure (Rs 3.67 lakh). For 2025, Kawasaki has updated the Versys-X 300 with a new colour scheme and an upgraded engine that complies with stricter emission norms. The 2025 Kawasaki Versys-X 300 maintains its adventurous DNA with a design optimised for both extended touring and everyday riding. It features an upright riding position, a tall windscreen, bold graphics, and functional bodywork.

The 2025 Kawasaki Versys-X 300 uses the same 296cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine found in the Ninja 300, now upgraded to be OBD-2B compliant. This unit puts out 39.45bhp of maximum power and 25.7Nm of peak torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox and a slip-and-assist clutch.
The Kawasaki Versys-X 300 is equipped with a 41mm telescopic fork offering 130mm of front suspension travel, complemented by a monoshock at the rear with 148mm of travel. Stopping power comes from petal disc brakes at both ends. The bike sits on a spoked wheel setup, with a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear, wrapped in tubed tyres for durability. The Versys-X’s 815mm seat height is a step lower than the KLX230’s 880mm, giving it a friendlier stance for riders of all sizes.
