2025 KTM 390 Adventure to Feature Cruise Control

The next-generation 390 Adventure motorcycle unveiled at the 2024 KTM Adventure Rally is set to expand KTM's adventure motorcycle lineup. It's also expected to launch soon in India. Leaked images have showcased some notable updates, including a new cruise control feature. The 2025 KTM 390 Adventure R is anticipated to include a cruise control switch located on the left switchgear, along with a '+/Res' button. This addition will significantly enhance the touring experience, allowing riders to maintain a consistent speed on long journeys without the need for constant throttle adjustments.

2025 KTM 390 Adventure R: What to Expect?

In addition to cruise control, the new KTM 390 Adventure is likely to inherit several cutting-edge features from the updated 390 Duke. These include a bi-directional quick shifter for smooth gear transitions, a traction control system for improved stability, lean-sensitive cornering ABS for enhanced safety, LED lighting for better visibility, Bluetooth connectivity for smartphone integration, and a vibrant TFT colour display for easy access to information.

The 390 Adventure R will be equipped with 21/18-inch spoke wheels featuring dual-purpose tires, offering excellent traction for both on-road and off-road adventures. A fully adjustable suspension system will further improve ride quality, allowing riders to customise the bike's handling to their liking.

KTM's LC4c engine will power the 390 Adventure R, the same one in the 390 Duke. This 399 cc, liquid-cooled engine is expected to deliver 45.3 bhp and 39.5 Nm of torque. While the core engine specifications may remain unchanged, potential modifications could enhance its performance for adventure riding, such as tweaks to power delivery or the exhaust system.
