The 2025 KTM 390 Adventure X now gets cruise control, cornering ABS, traction control, and three ride modes, features previously limited to the top variant.

KTM has launched the updated 2025 390 Adventure X in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs 3.03 lakh, marking a Rs 12,000 increase over the previous version. The key highlight of this update is the addition of cruise control, along with premium features such as cornering ABS, cornering traction control, and three riding modes (Street, Rain, and Off-Road) that were previously exclusive to the top-of-the-line variant. KTM has also revised the handlebar switchgear to incorporate new controls for cruise and ride mode selection. Powered by the updated 399cc engine, the 390 Adventure X continues to deliver strong performance and versatility. With this upgrade, KTM strengthens its position in the entry-level adventure motorcycle segment, appealing to enthusiasts seeking a feature-rich ADV at a competitive price point.
The 2025 KTM 390 Adventure X showcases a bold and rugged design inspired by the brand’s Dakar Rally heritage. At the front, it features a vertically stacked dual-LED headlamp setup surrounded by an LED DRL, complemented by a tall windscreen that adds to its aggressive look. Its angular fuel tank, elongated single-piece seat, and slim tail section with a compact LED taillight all reinforce its adventure-focused styling. The bike is available in two colour options: Electronic Orange and Ceramic White.
Moving on to the mechanical aspects, the new Adventure X is powered by a 399cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. This unit delivers 45bhp of maximum power and 39Nm of peak torque. It comes paired with a six-speed gearbox featuring a slip-and-assist clutch for smoother engagement and a bidirectional quickshifter for seamless gear changes.

When it comes to hardware components, the 390 Adventure X features long-travel suspension – a telescopic inverted fork at the front and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear, both providing 200mm of travel for better comfort and stability on rough terrain.
Braking is managed by a 320mm front disc and a 240mm rear disc, mounted on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels. With a seat height of 825mm, ground clearance of 227mm, and a kerb weight of 177kg, the motorcycle is suitable for both on-road and off-road riding. It also has a 14.5-litre fuel tank, perfect for long-distance adventures.
In terms of features, the bike shares its TFT instrument cluster with the standard 390 Adventure. It includes Bluetooth connectivity for call/message alerts, navigation, and music control. Safety tech includes dual-channel ABS with the option to disengage rear ABS and a dedicated off-road ABS mode.

Additional highlights come in the form of all-LED lighting and a USB charging port located next to the display for convenient device charging on the go.
