TVS Motor Company has introduced the 2025 version of the Apache RTR 200 4V in India to mark 20 years of its iconic Apache lineup. The new iteration highlights TVS’s continued commitment to performance-focused enhancements. It complies with the most recent OBD2B emission norms, ensuring environmental responsibility without compromising its sporty character. The motorcycle gets bold new graphics that enhance its modern, aggressive look, giving it a stronger street presence. Priced at Rs 1.54 lakh (ex-showroom), it sees a modest increase of Rs 5,370 over its predecessor, justified by the addition of advanced features and colours. With this launch, TVS reinforces its focus on evolving the Apache RTR 200 4V into a well-rounded streetfighter, which meets the requirements of the modern rider.
Speaking about the launch, Mr. Vimal Sumbly, Head Business – Premium, TVS Motor Company, said, 'The TVS Apache brand is not just about a motorcycle — it’s a global movement that has inspired a passionate community of over 6 million riders in two decades. Driven by our racing DNA, TVS Apache motorcycles have consistently delivered a powerful blend of performance, precision, and technology, captivating the imagination of youth and enthusiasts worldwide.

He also added, 'The upgraded 2025 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V continues this legacy, pushing the limits of design and engineering to offer next-generation riders a thrilling, track-bred experience on every ride.'
While the motorcycle sticks to its signature design language, the addition of new colour options—Glossy Black, Matte Black, and Granite Grey—brings a modern and aggressive touch, paired with a bold red alloy wheel design. These cosmetic updates add vibrancy without straying from the Apache’s recognisable identity. However, the most noteworthy upgrades go beyond aesthetics, with the inclusion of a robust 37mm USD (Upside Down) fork and a newly designed hydroformed handlebar, both aimed at enhancing ride dynamics and handling precision. Apart from these enhancements, the motorcycle’s overall design and bodywork remain largely unchanged, preserving its established sporty appeal.
The Apache RTR 200 4V has a 199cc single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine that continues to deliver 20.51bhp at 9,000rpm and 17.25Nm at 7,250rpm. The bike is equipped with dual-channel ABS for improved braking safety and offers three distinct ride modes (Urban, Sport, and Rain).
