For 2026, Ducati has announced some serious upgrades to the Multistrada V4 Rally. While the overall design remains the same, the bike now comes in two new colour options: Ducati Red/Brushed Aluminium with black spoked wheels, and a Jade Green/Brushed Aluminium with gold wheels. It also features an enhanced Adaptive Ducati Skyhook Suspension EVO system with 200mm travel at both ends. The setup includes a dedicated mode allowing riders to adjust damping settings instantly, without changing the Riding Mode. By continuously analysing riding style and road conditions, the system makes real-time adjustments to optimize comfort and control. Ducati has also introduced an Automatic Lowering Device that gently lowers the bike at low speeds (under 10km/h), improving stability during stops and slow manoeuvres. Read on for more details
The 1158cc Granturismo V4 engine remains unchanged with 167.6bhp at 10,750 rpm and 121Nm of torque at 8,750rpm. However, the 2026 Multistrada V4 Rally benefits from several important mechanical refinements. These include an extended cylinder deactivation. The engine's cylinder deactivation feature previously only engaged when the bike was at a complete standstill. Now, the system also deactivates cylinders during slow riding or light throttle use, like in heavy traffic, to conserve fuel and maintain lower operating temperatures. Additionally, the bike features the new 2.0 version of Ducati’s Quick Shift system, which eliminates the microswitch on the shift rod for a more precise, shorter-travel gear shift experience.

Ducati has packed the 2026 iteration with advanced safety and comfort upgrades. The key highlight is the new Forward Collision Warning system, which complements the existing radar suite (including Adaptive Cruise Control and Blind Spot Detection). Meanwhile, braking performance is enhanced by a larger 280mm rear disc and an improved Combined Braking System, ensuring greater stability, particularly when riding fully loaded or with a passenger. Other notable features include Ducati’s MotoGP-derived Vehicle Observer (DVO) technology ( which fine-tunes ABS and traction control for unmatched precision), a taller and wider windscreen, standard heated grips, redesigned pannier mounts, and increased legroom.
The bike is equipped with a 6.5-inch full-TFT display that supports Ducati Connect, offering seamless access to navigation, music, and phone calls. It simplifies control over the suspension and heated seat settings, making on-the-fly adjustments effortless.
While Ducati has unveiled the 2026 Multistrada V4 Rally for global markets, the company has not yet confirmed if or when the bike will launch in India.

Globally, the bike is available in three trims: Radar (featuring safety tech like Adaptive Cruise Control and Blind Spot Detection), Adventure Travel & Radar (which adds aluminium panniers and heated seats), and Full Adventure (with an Akrapovic exhaust and carbon fibre mudguard).
