The 2026 Honda Africa Twin CRF1100L has been revealed for global markets, and this update is all about fresh style rather than big mechanical changes. Honda has given its flagship adventure bike new colours and graphics. While the engine, chassis, and core hardware stay the same, the visual refresh keeps the Africa Twin looking current in a competitive adventure bike segment. For riders who value reliability and real-world ability, this update makes sense. The Africa Twin continues to balance long-distance touring, daily usability, and off-road riding.

The standard Africa Twin and the Electronic Suspension variant come with three colour options: Grand Prix Red, Matt Ballistic Black Metallic, and Pearl Glare White. The white shade stands out with gold wheels, which add contrast. Honda has revised the graphics on the fuel tank and side panels, keeping lines clean and readable. The Adventure Sports version looks more rugged with Matt Iridium Gray Metallic and a Pearl Glare White option with HRC Tricolore accents. A darker frame finish and graphics on parts like the swingarm and radiator cowls give it a tougher, purpose-built appearance.

The Africa Twin remains well equipped for mixed riding. Riders get four riding modes covering city use, touring, gravel, and off-road riding. Wheelie Control, Cornering ABS with an off-road mode, and Rear Lift Control help manage traction on loose surfaces. DCT versions add cornering detection for smoother gear changes. A 6.5-inch TFT screen sits at the centre, offering Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Honda RoadSync for navigation and music control, which is useful on long rides.
Powering all variants is the familiar 1,084cc parallel-twin engine. It produces 100.5bhp at 7,500rpm and 112Nm of torque at 5,500rpm. Buyers can choose between a six-speed manual gearbox or Honda’s Dual Clutch Transmission. The engine meets Euro5+ norms through updated fuelling and exhaust mapping. Throttle-by-wire helps keep power delivery controlled, whether cruising on highways or riding through trails.
