-The 2026 Honda CB125R launch in India remains uncertain, largely due to its premium positioning in the segment.
-Globally, the bike gets four new colour options.
-Engine remains unchanged.
Honda has updated the CB125R with four new colour options: Matt Rock Gray, Matt Lucent Silver Metallic, Zefiro Blue Metallic, and Matt Pearl Diaspro Red. What makes these colours stand out is the contrasting CB125R branding on the side shrouds, paired with negative-style Wing emblems on the fuel tank. It is to be noted that Honda has only added new colour options, while the engine remains unchanged. Although the update adds to Honda’s global entry-level lineup, the bike’s launch in India remains uncertain, largely due to its premium positioning. Premium features such as liquid cooling and Showa USD forks will make the CB125R fall under a higher price bracket, making it unsuitable for India’s price-conscious commuter buyers.
Honda hasn’t altered the CB125R’s technical package. The bike continues to extract power from a 125cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces a maximum power output of 15bhp. Transmission duties are carried out by a five-speed unit.

Up front, the bike features 41mm Showa Separate Function Big Piston (SFF-BP) USD forks, while the rear uses a non-adjustable monoshock. Stopping power comes from a 296mm hubless floating front disc with a radial-mount Nissin four-piston calliper, and a 220mm rear disc with a single-piston calliper. The brakes are supported by two-channel ABS. Other highlights include 816mm seat height, 130 kg kerb weight, 140mm ground clearance, and a 5-inch TFT display.
Honda introduced the 2026 CB750 Hornet for the global market with multiple updates, including an optional E-Clutch system. Visually, the streetfighter retains its aggressive stance, it gains four new colour options: Graphite Black and Matt Ballistic Black Metallic with red frames, Wolf Silver Metallic, and Iridium Grey Metallic.

Mechanically, the bike continues to use a 755cc parallel-twin engine, which makes 90bhp at 9,500rpm and 75Nm at 7,250rpm. Premium hardware includes Showa SFF-BP front forks, a linked rear monoshock, twin 296mm front discs and a 240mm rear disc, and dual-channel ABS.
