Ampere, owned by Greaves Electric Mobility, has introduced a five-year or 75,000 km battery warranty for its Nexus electric scooter, whichever comes first. This makes it one of the longest battery warranties currently available in India’s electric two-wheeler market. The warranty is applicable to both the EX and ST variants. The EX is priced at Rs 1.15 lakh, while the ST version costs Rs 1.25 lakh. All mentioned prices are ex-showroom figures. To make the scooter more affordable, the company has also rolled out updated finance options with interest rates starting at 6.99% and lower down payment requirements.
Ampere’s first high-performance electric scooter is powered by a 3kWh LFP battery, which delivers a claimed range of 110 km on a full charge. The company states that the battery can be fully recharged in approximately 3 hours and 22 minutes.

Additional highlights include full-LED lighting and 12-inch alloy wheels. Buyers can choose from four paint jobs: Steel Grey, Lunar White, Indian Red, and Zanskar Aqua. The model is available in two variants: Standard and ST.
Built on a newly developed underbone frame, the Nexus employs a telescopic front fork and dual rear shock absorbers.
