Aprilia Racing unveiled the RSV4 X-GP to mark a decade since their RS-GP made its debut in MotoGP. Only 30 of these bikes will be made, and they’ll be sold only in Europe. This is a track-only machine and it is the most race-focused RSV4 Aprilia has ever created. The heart of the RSV4 X-GP is a 1,099cc V4 engine, carefully tuned by Aprilia Racing to produce 234bhp at 13,750rpm and 131Nm of torque at 11,750 rpm. That’s more than the standard RSV4, which makes 217bhp. The bike benefits from several upgrades like a higher compression ratio, a racing-spec air filter, velocity stacks, an STM dry clutch, and a titanium exhaust inspired by MotoGP and made by SC Project.

What really sets this bike apart are the aerodynamics. It features MotoGP-style leg and tail wings, something not seen on any production bike before. The entire bodywork is made from full carbon fibre, crafted by PAN Compositi using the same methods as MotoGP. Aprilia says this aerodynamic design produces five times the downforce on straight sections and three times as much when cornering, which helps keep the bike stable and planted on the track.

The frame is a lightweight aluminium double cradle design paired with Öhlins racing suspension, designed to handle demanding circuits. It uses Brembo GP4-MS brake callipers gripping 330 mm T Drive discs for stopping power. The wheels are forged magnesium Marchesini units, wrapped in Pirelli WorldSBK slick tyres, highlighting the racing intent. Adjustable billet aluminium parts like the footpegs and clutch lever come with protective guards to complete the race-ready setup.
Electronics are managed by Aprilia’s APX ECU. This lets riders customise power delivery, traction control, engine braking, and wheelie control for each gear. The system includes GPS for telemetry and data logging. Buyers also receive a Yashi laptop loaded with tuning software to personalise settings.
