Aprilia has updated its SR 125 with the 2025 model, bringing a mix of design tweaks, feature upgrades, and a refined engine to the Indian scooter market. Priced at Rs 1.20 lakh (ex-showroom), the new SR 125 sits below the SR 175 in Aprilia’s line-up and aims to offer a more accessible choice for urban commuters. It’s positioned in the premium 125cc scooter segment, targeting riders who value style and performance. In terms of styling, Aprilia has retained the overall design language of the outgoing model but added new colour options and carbon-finish details for a more modern look.

The 2025 SR 125 is now available in Glossy Red with Matte Black, Prismatic Dark, and Tech White — offered in both matte and glossy finishes. The 14-inch alloy wheels complete the sporty appearance and enhance road presence.
Aprilia has also improved the tech on the SR 125. The scooter now features a 5.5-inch TFT display that provides improved visibility and more information on the go.

Headlamp has been upgraded to all-LED units, including the headlamp and turn indicators, which not only improve safety but also enhance the scooter’s overall look. Braking is handled by a 220mm front disc, rear drum brake, and a hydraulic Combined Braking System (CBS).
Powering the scooter is a 124.45cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that delivers 10bhp at 7,400rpm and 10 Nm of torque at 6,200rpm. The engine is paired with a CVT transmission and dry centrifugal clutch, allowing smooth acceleration in city traffic. Aprilia claims a top speed of 90km/h, making the SR 125 capable enough for daily city commutes.

Ride comfort is managed by telescopic forks at the front and a standard shock absorber at the rear. While it lacks the preload-adjustable setup from the SR 175, the suspension is tuned for everyday riding conditions.
With these upgrades, the 2025 Aprilia SR 125 is expected to strengthen the brand’s position in India’s growing 125cc scooter market.
