Aprilia Racing has revealed the Aprilia X 250TH, a proper track machine built with MotoGP-derived tech. It has been introduced to mark the 250th anniversary of the United States Declaration of Independence. Only 30 units will be produced globally, which already puts it in a very exclusive space. Out of these, 25 units are reserved for North America, while the remaining five will go to other markets. This is also the sixth motorcycle under Aprilia’s X programme, and if you’ve followed these bikes before, you know they are all about delivering race-level performance to private owners.
The Aprilia X 250TH looks straight out of a race paddock. It uses a full carbon-fibre aerodynamic package inspired by the RS-GP MotoGP bike. You get front wings, under-wing elements and even seat-mounted wings. There is also a ground-effect system built into the side fairings, which is designed to improve grip when cornering.

All these elements are not just for show, they increase vertical load both on straights and while leaning, which should translate into better stability when riding hard on track. The Stars and Stripes livery ties the whole concept back to the occasion it celebrates.

When it comes to features, this motorcycle is loaded with serious race hardware. The biggest highlight is the Brembo carbon-carbon braking system with 340mm discs and carbon pads. This is the first time such MotoGP-derived brakes have been offered on a motorcycle available for purchase. The callipers are billet aluminium units with cooling fins to handle heat under braking, while a nickel-plated calliper takes care of the rear.

The chassis uses an aluminium twin-spar frame paired with Ohlins suspension, including pressurised FKR front forks and a TTX rear shock. It also runs on Marchesini forged magnesium wheels wrapped in Pirelli Diablo Superbike slick tyres. Electronics are managed by the Aprilia Racing APX system, allowing adjustments to traction control, engine braking, and power delivery for each gear using GPS.
The engine is a 1,099cc V4 unit that produces 240bhp at 13,750rpm. Aprilia has worked on it with a higher compression ratio and a racing airbox with dedicated intake trumpets. It also uses a Sprint Filter high-permeability air filter. The engine is paired with an SC-Project exhaust and an STM dry clutch. With these updates, it can rev up to 14,100rpm, while the bike maintains a dry weight of 165kg.

Buyers also get a full track package that includes a Yashi laptop with ECU software, a personalised bike cover, and a dedicated garage mat. It also comes with titanium paddock stands from RCB and IRC tyre warmers. Overall, this is a pure track-focused machine built for riders who want something close to a race bike experience.
