Ather 450X reveal in New Delhi on January 28
The Ather 450X will be revealed in New Delhi on January 28, 2020. In essence, the 450X will be a 'step above' the current Ather 450 - it'll boast of superior features and better performance specs. Moreover, it's likely to go on sale as a limited-edition offering.

The announcement was recently made on Ather Energy's social media handles. The launch, however, will take place at a later date.
Just a few days back, homegrown electric scooter manufacturer Ather Energy had dropped a teaser video of its upcoming premium scooter, the Ather 450X. In essence, the 450X will be a 'step above' the current Ather 450 - it'll boast of superior features and better performance specs. Moreover, it's likely to go on sale as a limited-edition offering.
While we already knew the scooter was bound to be revealed soon (which will be followed by a separate launch event), Ather themselves have now given us a reveal date for the 450X. It will make its public debut in New Delhi on 28th January 2020. Prior to the reveal date announcement, Ather had already started accepting pre-orders for the 450X via exclusive invites sent out to the Ather community (current Ather customers).
While Ather has setup two company-owned retail outlets (Ather Space) in Bengaluru & Chennai so far, the company is now in talks with potential dealer partners to target more Tier-1 cities across the country. Some reports even suggest that the Ather 450X could go on sale in as many as 10 cities soon, of which Delhi-NCR, Hyderabad and Mumbai are likely to comprise the first set of cities (including Chennai & Bengaluru).
