Two new colour options have been added to the Bajaj Avenger Street range.

Bajaj launched the new Avenger range of affordable cruiser motorcycles only last year, and there’s no doubt that it’s been selling in decent numbers. Now given the popularity of the Avenger Street series, Bajaj has added two new exterior shades to the range.

First off, lets understand the Avenger range, which comprises the Avenger 220 Cruise, 220 Street & 150 Street. The 150 Street will now be available with a new shade, called Cosmic Red, whereas the 220 Street can now be had in a Matter Wild Green finish. The Avenger 220 Cruise will be available with Divine Black and Desert Gold.

On the mechanical front, all the models remain unchanged. The Bajaj Avenger 220 Cruise and Street come powered by a 219.9cc, single-cylinder, DTSi air-cooled and oil-cooled engine, developing a maximum power output of 18.7bhp @ 8,400rpm and 17.5Nm of peak torque @ 7,000rpm. The Avenger 150 Street is powered by a 150cc, single-cylinder engine that develops 14.9bhp @ 9,000rpm and a peak torque of 12.5Nm @ 6,500rpm. Both the 220 and 150 versions come paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox.

Commenting on the launch, Mr Eric Vas, President - Motorcycle Business, Bajaj Auto, said “The Avenger is known for its world class styling and unbeatable comfort. The introduction of two unique new colours in The Avenger Street lifts the style of the Avenger to a new level in the motorcycle industry. We are confident that the introduction of Cosmic Red and Matte Wild Green will find immediate appeal amongst the fast growing Avenger fan-base across the country.”

The Avenger 220 Street Matte Wild Green &  Avenger 150 Street Cosmic Red are priced at Rs 85,497 & Rs 75,500, ex-showroom Delhi, respectively.
