Bajaj Auto Ltd. has confirmed a notable price revision across its Bajaj and KTM range, following the most recent GST update. Models from both brands with engine capacities of 350cc or below will see price reductions of up to Rs 20,000. However, the company has not disclosed the exact price list. Bajaj models to benefit from the price reductions include Avenger, Pulsar, Platina, and CT series. On the KTM side, the eligible bikes are the Duke 160, Duke 200, Duke 250, RC 200, and the 250 Adventure. The revised prices will come into effect starting September 22, 2025.
Under GST 2.0, two-wheelers with engines up to and including 350cc now attract a lower tax rate of 18%, down from the earlier 28%. In contrast, bikes exceeding 350cc will see a new 40% GST rate, replacing the earlier effective tax of 31%. This will make premium motorcycles significantly more expensive going forward.

Speaking on the reduction of GST, Rakesh Sharma, Executive Director, Bajaj Auto Ltd, said, 'The Government’s decision to reduce GST for most two-wheelers and three-wheelers is a bold step forward, which will unlock their demand and set the industry on a firm growth path. We thank the Government of India for the initiative which touches the lives of millions. Two and three wheeler mobility is the backbone of livelihoods and fulfills many family aspirations. At Bajaj Auto Ltd, we are delighted to support the initiative, making our vehicles more affordable just as the festive season begins. The timely reform will most certainly lift consumer sentiment and add to the festive cheer.'
The implementation of GST 2.0 is expected to have a mixed impact on Bajaj and KTM’s product lineup in India. Mass-market models such as the Pulsar 125, Pulsar 150, Pulsar 160, NS200, Avenger cruisers, and the commuter-friendly Platina and CT series will benefit from the reduced 18% GST rate, resulting in higher demand, especially during the upcoming festive season when two-wheeler sales typically surge.

Meanwhile, premium offerings like the Bajaj Dominar and the KTM 390 range, including the Duke and Adventure (now fall under the higher 40% GST slab), could see a low market appeal, particularly among price-sensitive buyers.
