Bajaj Auto expanded its Discover portfolio by unveiling Discover 150F and Discover 150S. The 150F gets a smart looking half fairing, which reminds us of the Honda Stunner. It gets all black alloys, which add a sporty look. The F150 is the naked version, which keeps things simple yet appealing. Both the bikes get fuel tanks similar to other Discover bikes and the instrument panel comes with an odometer, fuel gauge, tripmeter and the usual tell-tale lamps.

The 150F comes with a disc brake in the front and a drum at the rear as standard equipment. The 150S, on the other hand, is available in two options– all drum brakes or a disc-drum combination. Both the new Discovers come with a monoshock at the rear and telescopic front forks. The 145cc four-valve DTS-i motor powers both the motorcycles and makes 14.5PS of power. Both are mated with five-speed gearboxes.

Discover 150F is available at Rs 58,739 (ex-showroom Pune), while Discover 150S is Rs 51,720 (ex-showroom Pune) for drum and Rs 54,725 for disc variant (ex-showroom Pune). The Discover 150S is the most affordable 145cc available in the market. The Discovers twins come in four colours – dark blue, wine red, ebony black & dark bottle green.

According to Bajaj, the Discover 150 bikes will break away from the current commuter bikes available in the market to give the consumer an exciting and energising ride. Commenting on the launch Mr. Eric Vas, President (Motorcycle Business), said, “The newly launched Discover 150 breaks the monotony and drudgery of daily commute by providing the rider with a reserve of power to enjoy his ride. Its advanced 4 Valve 145 cc DTS-i engine delivers a class leading 14.5 Ps power and CMVR mileage of 72 km/l, the new Discover 150 will appeal to those who value the time spent during their daily commute on their bikes. ”
