Bajaj launches new variants of Platina & CT100

Bajaj adds new entry-level Platina with spoke wheels and top-end CT100 with electric starter to its commuter motorcycle range. 

Buyers looking for a new 100cc motorcycle, you now have two more options to choose from. Bajaj has added two new variants of the Platina and CT100 in its commuter motorcycle range. The first of the two is called the Platina ES Spoke. Priced at Rs 42,650, this is now the entry-level variant of the motorcycle. The other new motorcycle is the CT100 ES Alloy and it’ll be the top-end variant in the CT100 range, carrying a price tag of Rs 41,997.

As the name suggests, the Platina ES Spoke comes with an electric starter and spoke wheels. The motorcycle is powered by a 102cc single-cylinder engine that develops 8.1bhp and 8.6Nm of torque. Power transmission duties are carried out by a 4-speed gearbox. The Platina ES Alloy is also available at Rs 45,638.

The CT100 ES Alloy is now the top of the line variant in the CT series of bikes. The new variant adds an electric starter to the range, while it also comes with alloy wheels. Powering the CT100 range of motorcycles is a 99.3cc engine that makes 8bhp and 8.05 Nm of torque. It comes paired to a 4-speed gearbox. The CT100 range starts at 32,623 and is the most affordable motorcycle in the country.
