Bajaj Auto is all geared up to launch the highly awaited Bajaj Pulsar NS400 tomorrow, May 3. The bikemaker has already released several teasers on its social media handles, giving us a preview of what the bike will have in store for us. In one of the teasers, bike enthusiasts all over India got a sneak peek of the model's appealing alloy wheels, which resemble those on the recently announced Pulsar N250. The hashtag used in the latest teaser video on Instagram highlighted that the upcoming Pulsar NS400 will be the "biggest Pulsar ever". Notably, it will also be the most potent model in the Bajaj Pulsar range. Upon launch, the bike will be offered in four dual-tone colour options: Pewter Grey, Cocktail Wine Red, Metallic Pearl White, and Glossy Ebony Black. Here's all that you need to know about the brand-new Pulsar NS400.

Bajaj Pulsar NS400: Engine Specs

The Dominar 400 and Pulsar NS400 will share the same engine. It is a 373cc liquid-cooled motor, based on the KTM 390 Duke from the previous generation. However, the manufacturer has modified it significantly. The Dominar 400's engine belts out 35Nm of peak torque and 40bhp of maximum power. On the transmission front, there is a six-speed gearbox with a slip and assist clutch. It is anticipated that Bajaj will tweak the engine to better fit the specifications of the Pulsar NS400.

Bajaj Pulsar NS400: Design

The NS400 is more of an evolution of the Pulsar NS range's design language with more contemporary elements. The most obvious design modification on the Pulsar NS400, which has a naked street design, is the new LED headlight unit with two lightning-shaped DRL strips running down the side of the headlamp. Comparably shaped to the NS200, the muscular fuel tank has more muscle and a beefier appearance thanks to the tank extensions. The pointed tail section, split grab handle design, and split-seat arrangement appear to be largely similar to the NS200 as well. Moreover, the model will likely sport an underbelly exhaust, as opposed to the standard rear-mounted unit.

Bajaj Pulsar NS400: Hardware Components

The engine is located on a perimeter frame, and the bike is suspended by gold-finished upside-down front forks and a monoshock. Both the front and rear disc brakes will be in charge of braking duties. A dual-channel ABS will also be on offer. The model rides on 17-inch alloy wheels, and the tyre sizes are expected to be the same as the Dominar 400's. However, the NS400 has a standard box-section steel swingarm, presumably to keep costs down, even though it should come equipped with all the latest conveniences.

Bajaj Pulsar NS400: Features

In terms of features, three ABS modes will be offered for the Pulsar NS400: On/Off, Rain, and Road. Furthermore, there will be a new digital instrument cluster exclusive to the Pulsar series. Bluetooth connectivity is expected to be included for turn-by-turn navigation. Traction control, which was recently added to the Pulsar NS200, will also be available on the Bajaj Pulsar NS400.
