Bajaj has expanded its model range in Spain with the NS 400 for EUR 4,499 (approximately Rs 4.83 lakh). The Spain-spec naked streetfighter is about Rs 2.89 lakh more expensive than the India-spec NS400Z, which retails at Rs 1.94 lakh. In the Indian market, the NS400Z rivals popular models such as the TVS Apache RTR 310, the KTM 390 Duke, the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450, and the Triumph Speed 400. Here’s a closer look at the key differences between the international-spec NS 400 and the India-focused NS400Z.
While the core design remains largely similar, Bajaj Auto has added noticeable updates to the engine and hardware to set the two versions apart. The India-spec NS400Z, updated in July last year, is powered by a 373cc single-cylinder engine producing 43bhp (up from 40bhp), along with a higher 10,700rpm redline in Sport mode and an increased top speed of 157km/h. In comparison, the Spain-spec NS 400 uses the same KTM-derived 373cc liquid-cooled motor but delivers a lower 39.45bhp and 35Nm output.
