Big Dog Motorcycles now in India

Big Dog Motorcycles has now arrived to India with the K9 Red Chopper 111.

Big Dig Motorcycles, the world’s largest manufacturer of custom designed bikes has finally arrived in India. With a history of 22-years, Big Dog Motorcycles has been producing custom made road legal high-performance, on-road cruisers and choppers ever since their inception. Till date, Bog Dog has delivered over 3,00,000 motorcycles globally and their growth has now allowed them to finally land in the Indian market. Big Dog claims that no two motorcycles will ever be the same in India.

The very first bike Big Dog has brought along a ‘One-of-One’ with them is what they call the K9 Red Chopper 111. The K9 has a 1,807cc V-Twin engine from S&S Superslider. The engine is mated to a Jim's, 6-Speed, Right-Side-Drive, Close Ratio, Straight Cut gearbox. As like most choppers, the K9 has a 37 degree raked frame with an elongated front end with telescopic forks which gives it a wheelbase of 2,082mm. the overall length of the bike is 2,743mm and weighs a total of 304 kilos. The K9 Red Chopper 111 is priced at Rs. 59 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). the best part about the bike, is that its completely street legal in India.

From various designs, accessories, seats made from exotic materials, sissy bars, exhaust pipes, kicks, tyres, paint and much more.

The S&S Superslider V-Twin engine is the largest production engine which is mounted to the Big Dog chassis in addition to an updated and completely re-designed electronic systems and a gearbox that Big Dog claims is bulletproof (Not to be taken literally, but coming from America, we’re sure some may have) are just some of the advanced updates that can be found on a modern Big Dog chopper which are now available in India.
