BMW Motorrad India is preparing to bid farewell to the G 310 RR with a limited-edition version that will launch ahead of the 2025 festive season. The special edition will be restricted to just 310 units for the Indian market, making it a collectible for enthusiasts of the brand’s entry-level sports bike. With this move, BMW marks the conclusion of the current generation before introducing new models in its sportbike line-up. Due to GST 2.0 reforms, the current G 310 RR is priced at Rs 2.81 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The limited edition is expected to command a higher figure, though the tax changes may help reduce the price gap.
Visually, the limited-edition G 310 RR will likely draw inspiration from BMW’s M performance range with a black, red, and blue theme. Each model will carry an individually numbered plaque on the fuel tank, highlighting its exclusivity.

Further details may include aerodynamic winglets, a clear clutch cover, redesigned alloy wheels, and other design touches to differentiate it from the standard model.
BMW is expected to equip the bike with features usually reserved for larger capacity motorcycles. Anticipated additions include a bi-directional quickshifter for seamless shifting, cruise control for long-distance comfort, and rider aids such as launch control and cornering drag torque control. Together, these systems will make the motorcycle more adaptable to both urban and weekend riding conditions.
The limited-edition BMW G 310 RR is more than just a cosmetic upgrade. The 313cc single-cylinder engine will likely feature a larger airbox. This change is expected to offer a more responsive throttle, power and an improved riding experience. These updates will bring the special edition closer in performance to its platform twin, the TVS Apache RR 310.
BMW Motorrad is now shifting focus towards its upcoming 450cc parallel-twin sports bike, scheduled for 2026. This new platform is expected to strengthen the company’s position in the Indian market, targeting riders seeking more performance while moving beyond the entry-level segment.
