BMW Motorrad has launched a special limited-edition G 310 RR in India as part of a milestone celebration, having crossed sales of over 10,000 units of G 310 RR. The motorcycle has been introduced at a price of Rs 2.99 lakh (ex-showroom), which is Rs 18,000 higher than the standard G 310 RR. The company has confirmed that this edition will be offered only in restricted numbers and is available for booking through authorised dealerships across the country. By bringing in this limited release, BMW Motorrad is simultaneously celebrating its sales achievement and offering customers an opportunity to own a more distinctive version of the fully faired bmw sportbikes in India.

The motorcycle’s appeal lies in its cosmetic updates, while the mechanical base remains unchanged from the standard model. The BMW G 310 RR Limited Edition is offered in two paint options, black and white, combined with red and blue racing-themed graphics. These graphics extend across the front fender, fairing, and fuel tank, giving the motorcycle a more striking road presence.

One of the unique touches includes the ‘1/310’ series badge fixed on each bike, denoting its placement in the limited run. Additionally, the 17-inch alloy wheels feature rim tapes in colours matched to the livery, further distinguishing it from the standard variant.
While the design brings exclusivity, the motorcycle retains the same engine and cycle parts as the standard G 310 RR. Power comes from a 312.2cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 34bhp and 27Nm of peak torque. It is coupled with a 6-speed gearbox that ensures smooth gear shifts. Tyres come from Michelin, with a 110/70 section at the front and a 150/60 section at the rear, optimised to deliver grip and stability across varied riding conditions.

The suspension setup includes an upside-down telescopic fork at the front and a rear monoshock, tuned to balance comfort and handling. Braking performance is provided by single disc brakes at both ends, supported by dual-channel ABS as standard. Weighing 174 kg (kerb) and featuring an 11-litre fuel tank, the G 310 RR also offers practicality for everyday use along with the capability for longer rides.
