Ducati X Diavel V4 teaser

Ducati has been consistently dropping intriguing teasers on its social media, building anticipation for a new motorcycle set to debut globally on February 13, 2025. While the teasers provide little detail, speculation is rife that the upcoming Ducati will be the new XDiavel V4. The sneak peek highlights the bike's signature low-slung, raked-out design, which promises to give it a bold and unique presence. Although many details are still a mystery, it’s anticipated that the new XDiavel will feature top-tier components, a fresh colour palette, and new alloy wheels.

In addition, the Ducati XDiavel V4 could come with a host of advanced features, such as traction control, cornering ABS, wheelie control, ride-by-wire, multiple ride modes, and a TFT panel.

New Ducati XDiavel V4: What’s More to Expect?

The Ducati XDiavel V4 will likely utilise the familiar 1,158cc V4 Granturismo engine. The teaser confirms the same 168bhp power output. However, it's unclear if Ducati has tweaked the torque delivery for this specific application. Paired with a six-speed gearbox, the XDiavel V4 is highly expected to include a bi-directional quickshifter for smoother and quicker upshifts and downshifts. This combination of a powerful engine and advanced transmission technology should deliver both thrilling performance and refined riding dynamics.

The Ducati XDiavel V4 is expected to feature high-quality suspension and braking systems. The front could be equipped with fully adjustable upside-down (USD) forks for precise handling, while the rear is likely to be supported by a monoshock, ensuring a smooth and well-balanced ride. For braking, the XDiavel V4 could get dual front discs and a single rear disc.

The Ducati XDiavel V4 is expected to carry a premium price tag, similar to its predecessor. Considering the Diavel V4 starts at Rs 25.91 lakh (ex-showroom), the XDiavel V4 is likely to be around Rs. 1 lakh more expensive. While the India launch date is yet to be announced, we believe the bike could launch sometime soon.
