Harley Davidson launches the 1200 Custom for Rs. 8.90 lakh

The Harley Davidson 1200 Custom has made its debut on Indian soil.

The ultimate wide-shouldered cruiser, the 1200 Custom from Harley Davidson has been launched in India for an ex-showroom Delhi price of Rs 8,90,000/-.

Harley Davidson India will produce the 1200 Custom at their Bawal, Haryana production facility in the CKD format for sale in the Indian market. This is the 8th Harley to be produced in this form out of the 13 motorcycles from the Harley range available in India.

The bike is powered by a rubber mounted, Air-cooled, 1200cc Evolution engine with ESPFI, mated to a 5-speed transmission. The iconic Harley exhaust note in emphasised by the closed loop exhaust system which has also been tested for emission standards.

Other features include; Black powder-coated engine with chrome treatment covers, Steel laced wheels, Fat front-end design, Chrome headlamp bucket, Chrome headlight eyebrow, Stylized LED taillight, Two-up custom seat Wide, polished triple clamps. the bike also has Pull-back handlebar, Forward-mounted rider foot controls, Two-up custom seat, Integrated electrical system with trip switch, start switch, Handlebar-mounted electronic speedometer with odometer, time-of-day clock on odometer, dual tripmeter, low fuel warning light, low oil pressure light, engine diagnostics readout, LED indicator lights, gear indicator (1-5), and RPMs. the 1200 Custom also has Hazard warning integrated into self-canceling turn signal controls, Blade key ignition; fork lock common with ignition key and the Michelin® Scorcher® 31” tires designed specifically for Sportster models.

The 1200 Custom is available at all authorised Harley Davidson dealerships in India as of now.
