The Hero Glamour X 125 is the first motorcycle in its segment to come equipped with cruise control. While its launch has definitely raised the bar for 125cc bikes in India, the big question is whether the new iteration of the Glamour can make its mark in the fiercely competitive segment, which has recently seen several new entries, including the Honda CB125 Hornet. Both bikes offer a unique combination of advanced tech and styling at competitive prices. So, we compare their specs to see which one offers more value for money in terms of engine performance and technology.
The Glamour has seen some serious changes in its styling, including a more muscular stance. It now comes with a tall black-tinted windscreen, wider handlebar, and increased underseat storage capacity. The bike also has all-LED lighting at both ends, including signature H-shaped LED DRLs. It has two variants and is offered in five colour options.

On the other hand, the Honda CB125 Hornet boasts a sportier and aggressive design. The LED headlight with dual DRLs is one of the standout features, alongside striking gold upside-down (USD) front forks. The muscular fuel tank, sharp body lines, and edgy tail section add to the streetfighter appearance. The CB125 Hornet is available in four dual-tone colour schemes.
In terms of features, the Hero and Honda 125cc machines offer impressive packages for the segment. The most notable features on the Hero bike are cruise control and a ride-by-wire throttle system, marking a first for 125cc motorcycles. The bike also boasts a new colour LCD instrument cluster that provides turn-by-turn navigation and Bluetooth connectivity. Riders can choose from three ride modes (Eco, Road, and Power). They also benefit from the ‘panic brake alert’ system, which flashes the rear indicators during sudden braking.
Meanwhile, the CB125 Hornet comes with a 4.2-inch TFT display with Bluetooth support via Honda’s RoadSync app, enabling access to call alerts, and turn-by-turn navigation. Other highlights include a USB Type-C charging port and a side-stand indicator with engine inhibitor.
