The Hero Vida VX2 Go electric scooter now comes with a larger 3.4kWh battery pack, priced competitively at Rs 1.02 lakh (ex-showroom, after subsidies). The Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) plan is also available, starting at Rs 60,000 with a pay-per-kilometre rate of Rs 0.90. The new variant addresses the long-standing issue of range anxiety among daily commuters, making the already practical VX2 Go an even more attractive option against rivals like the Ola S1 X and TVS iQube. With the launch of this model, the Vida VX2 portfolio now consists of the VX2 Go 2.2kWh, VX2 Go 3.4kWh, and VX2 Plus trims. Deliveries are set to commence at the brand’s authorised dealerships nationwide from November 2025.
Until now, the Hero Vida VX2 Go was available only with a 2.2kWh battery. However, the launch of the larger battery pack not only enhances the scooter’s appeal but also significantly improves its range.

The new variant features a dual removable battery setup, replacing the single-battery layout of the smaller-battery model. The upgrade results in a real-world range of 100 kilometres, marking an increase from 64 kilometres in the base version. That said, the power figures remain the same at 8.05bhp and 26Nm, with the top speed limited to 70 km/h, ensuring uniform performance across all variants.
Vida hasn’t announced any additional features for the new VX2 Go variant compared to the base 2.2kWh model. As a result, it continues to offer practical amenities such as drum brakes (front and rear), a 4.3-inch LCD instrument cluster, and two riding modes.
The new trim offers slightly smaller under-seat storage capacity of 27.2 litres, down from 33.2 litres in the base model. Visually, it continues with the clean, modern design, complemented by the distinct Vida LED DRLs, which give a sharp, urban appearance.
