At EICMA 2024, Hero MotoCorp unveiled four compelling products, including an electric scooter (under its sub-brand Vida) and three ICE-powered motorcycles (the Xpulse 210, Xtreme 250R, and Karizma XMR 250). These offerings align with the company's vision, 'Be the Future of Mobility,' which focuses on innovation, sustainability, and technical advancement. They aim to boost the brand's global market presence through appealing design, modern features, and advanced functions. Talking about the Vida Z, Hero's new electric scooter focuses on urban mobility, and is designed for international markets. Although its availability in India is currently uncertain, we expect the scooter to be sold alongside the Vida 1, which starts here at Rs 1.03 lakh (ex-showroom).

As customers become more discerning, the new tech-enabled sustainable product aims to be an expression of freedom, excitement, and joy. Vida Z’s design philosophy is to celebrate the “fun” in function. It has a harmonious design that is identifiable and relatable due to its distinctive silhouette.'

Hero Vida Z: Key Highlights

The Hero Vida Z stands out with its minimalistic design. It has a wide seat, a pillion backrest, a touch-enabled TFT display, and a large floorboard. The EV includes a removable battery and a variety of charging options. It runs on a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM), while the modular architecture supports battery capacities ranging from 2.2kWh to 4.4kWh. The My Vida App allows the scooter to enable several safety and connectivity functions.
