Hero Xtreme 125R Single-seat Variant (1)

Hero MotoCorp has introduced a single-seat variant of the Xtreme 125R in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs 1 lakh. This comes after the company introduced Glamour X with segment-first features such as cruise control and ride-by-wire. The Xtreme 125R Single-seat version slots above the split-seat IBS variant, priced at Rs 98,425, and below the top-end split-seat ABS variant, priced at Rs 1.02 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom. The new variant offers improved seating comfort for the rider and pillion, and competes directly against the single-seat version of the TVS Raider, which is available at a lower price of Rs 93,865. Other than the seat configuration, the Hero bike remains the same.

Hero Xtreme 125R: Design and Features

The Xtreme 125R boasts aggressive styling and sporty proportions. Its sharp LED headlamp seems inspired by larger naked streetfighters like the Kawasaki Z1000 and Honda CB1000 Hornet, while the twin LED pilot lights positioned above it offer a unique design touch in this segment.

Hero Xtreme 125R: Engine and Hardware

The bike is powered by a 125cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine that churns out a maximum power output of 11.5bhp and a peak torque of 10.5Nm, and is paired with a five-speed transmission. It has 37mm telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear.
