Honda 2 Wheelers registers 3% growth in May 2015

Despite a negative trend in the market, Honda 2 Wheelers registered a 3% YoY growth in May 2015, with sales rising to 3,67,226 units.

Scooters, unsurprisingly, formed the biggest chunk of the aforementioned sales figure with 2,15,300 units. Motorcycle sales fell from 1,52,704 to 1,38,140 units, however, the overall sales growth remained positive.

To keep up with the sales growth, Honda has announced “retain, expand, create’’ strategy aimed at selling 47 lac units in FY’2015-16 and grow to sell 64 lac units by 2016.
