Honda has finally begun deliveries of the Rebel 500 cruiser and the X-ADV scooter in India. The first units have been dispatched to their respective owners from the Gurugram-based BigWing Topline dealership. However, it is important to note that the Rebel 500 is currently available for purchase in select cities, including Mumbai, Delhi NCR, and Bengaluru. The cruiser is sold in India in a single variant, adorned in a Matt Gunpowder Black Metallic finish. It has a low-slung stance, broad handlebars, round LED headlamps, and a compact tail. Mechanically, the Rebel packs a 471cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that churns out a maximum power output of 45.5bhp and a peak torque of 43.3Nm, and is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.

Hardware-wise, the bike has a tubular steel frame that is suspended by telescopic front forks and twin Showa rear shocks. Braking is handled by disc brakes at both ends, supported by dual-channel ABS. Other highlights include Dunlop tyres (a 130/90-16 front and 150/80-16 rear) and an inverted LCD display. The cruiser is priced at Rs 5.12 lakh in India (ex-showroom).

The premium maxi-scooter has a contemporary design with aggressive and sharp bodywork. Its key design elements are a dual LED headlamp with built-in DRLs, upswept exhaust, and a transparent windscreen. Customers can buy the scooter in either black or white colour.
On a mechanical front, the Honda X-ADV has a 745cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine mated to a six-speed DCT gearbox with chain drive. The setup produces a power output of 57.7bhp and a peak torque of 69Nm.

The scooter features a tubular steel frame, supported by 41mm USD front forks and a rear monoshock that can be adjusted for preload. Stopping power comes from two 296mm discs up front with radial-mounted four-piston callipers and a 240mm rear disc with a single-piston calliper. The setup is backed by dual-channel ABS. The scooter rides on 17-inch front and 15-inch rear wire-spoke wheels. Other notable features include a 5-inch full-colour TFT display with Bluetooth and smartphone compatibility, keyless ignition, ABS, cruise control, and a 22-litre under-seat storage. The scooter is priced at Rs 11.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
