Honda has launched the new Shine 100 DX in India, priced at Rs 74,959 (ex-showroom). This latest version brings a few neat touches, including a reshaped fuel tank with the classic Honda logo, a chrome-finished headlamp, black grab rail, and chrome muffler cover. The body graphics have been updated too, and buyers can pick from four colour options—Pearl Igneous Black, Imperial Red Metallic, Athletic Blue Metallic, and Geny Gray Metallic. Made with city riders in mind, the Shine 100 DX is compact and easy to manage in traffic. It measures 1,955mm long, 754mm wide, and 1,050mm high.

The bike is light at 103kg, with a comfortable 786mm seat height. Its long seat and a wheelbase of 1,245mm mean both rider and pillion get a decent amount of room, and the 168mm ground clearance helps tackle rough roads with ease.
Under the tank is a 98.98cc single-cylinder engine that meets BS-VI norms. It puts out 7.28bhp at 7,500rpm and 8.04Nm of torque at 5,000rpm. Honda’s PGM-FI tech helps the engine deliver power smoothly while keeping fuel use in check. The 4-speed gearbox is easy to use and works well for everyday rides.
The Shine 100 DX sits on a diamond-type frame and gets telescopic forks up front and twin shock absorbers at the back. It uses drum brakes—130mm at the front and 110mm at the rear—and rolls on 17-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres. There’s also a digital LCD console, side-stand engine cut-off, service due reminder, and a quiet starter, all designed to make daily use easier.
