Indian Roadmaster Elite India Launch 500x261

Only 300 units of the Roadmaster Elite will be produced worldwide, making the units allotted for India extremely limited in number.

Indian Motorcycle has started to tease the Roadmaster Elite on its official India Twitter page, claiming that the motorcycle is coming soon.

The Roadmaster Elite is a limited-edition variant of the standard Roadmaster with some exclusive touches to justify that ‘elite’ suffix. The bike comes wrapped in a bespoke black and blue paint scheme that takes 30 hours to complete. And, a 23K gold leaf on the fuel tank ensures that this isn't your average Roadmaster.

Furthermore, there is a 300-watt sound system with USB and Bluetooth connectivity to accompany the rider on those grand tours. Keeping the rider comfort in mind, the Elite also sports exclusive equipment like heated seats, heated grips, rider floorboards and a lot more.

Powering this exquisite super cruiser is the very same 1,811cc, Thunder Stroke V-twin engine that does duty on the standard Roadmaster. The motor pumps out 139Nm of peak torque and the transmission duties are handled by a 6-speed unit. Being a substantial motorcycle, it weighs north of 400kg.

We expect the Indian Roadmaster Elite to launch in India by February 2018. The standard Roadmaster retails for Rs. 40.45 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) in India. Going by all the exclusive touches on the Elite model, expect it to command even more, making it the most expensive bike in Indian’s lineup.
