Jawa 42 Bobber Red Sheen Variant Launched in India at Rs 2.30 Lakh

Following the addition of the two alloy-wheel variants to the 42 Bobber lineup, Jawa has announced a new variant of one of its top-selling motorcycles (42 Bobber). Launched at Rs 2.30 lakh (ex-showroom) at AYCS (All You Can Street Festival) in Mumbai, the Red Sheen joins the Black Mirror edition in the company's lineup as the top-of-the-line variant. However, what makes the former stand apart from the latter is a fuel tank that gets a chrome finish coupled with a striking red stripe as well as a 'Jawa' logo at the centre. 

Being the top-end variant, the Jawa 42 Bobber Red Sheen features diamond-cut alloy wheels wrapped in tubeless tyres. Expressing his excitement about the launch, Ashish Singh Joshi, CEO, Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles, said, 'The Jawa 42 Bobber has been a phenomenal success, and we're thrilled to expand the family with the introduction of the Red Sheen'.

Jawa Bobber 42 Red Sheen: Engine, Output

Other than that, the Jawa 42 Bobber Red Sheen remains the same. It continues to use a 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine which churns out 29.4bhp and 30Nm of peak torque. Transmission duties are taken care of by a 6-speed gearbox, accompanied by an assist and slipper clutch.

Jawa Bobber 42 Red Sheen: Rider Comforts

The rider comfort is further enhanced by a seven-step pre-load adjustable rear mono-shock, a two-step adjustable seat, a USB charging port, a digital console, and all-LED lighting. Stopping power comes from a disc at both ends, assisted by dual-channel ABS (anti-lock braking system).
