Kawasaki India has adjusted the prices of its motorcycles following the rollout of GST 2.0, which has overhauled the tax structure for two-wheelers across the country. Under the new tax regime, bikes with engine capacities above 350cc are now subject to a higher tax rate of 40%, up from the previous combined effective rate of 31% (28% GST plus 3% cess). This revision has led to noticeable price increases for models, such as the Kawasaki Eliminator, Ninja 650, Versys 1100, and others, making them more expensive for buyers. For instance, the 451cc Eliminator (MY25) is now priced at Rs 6.16 lakh, exhibiting an increase of Rs 40,000 from its previous price of Rs 5.76 lakh.
