Keeway SR 250, SR 125 Local Production to Begin by the End of 2023

The neo-retro Keeway motorcycles- the SR 250 and the SR 125 will likely be produced locally from the year-end. In its press release, Adishwar Auto Ride India (AARI) hinted at localizing the production of the Keeway bikes in our market. Price-wise, the SR 250 is available at an introductory cost of Rs 1.49 lakh, while the SR 125 comes with a price tag of Rs 1.19 lakh.  All prices, ex-showroom Delhi). Bookings for the motorcycles can be made by paying a token amount of Rs 2,000 for the SR 250, and Rs 1,000  for the SR 125. While the Keeway SR 125 is currently available for purchase, the SR 250 deliveries in our market will start on June 17. Keeway SR 125, SR 250: Hardware & Mechanical Details

The SR 125 has a single-cylinder, 4-stroke, 125cc engine with electronic fuel injection, which produces 9.5bhp and 8.2Nm. For braking duties, the bike gets a front 300mm disc and a rear 210mm disc. Further, it features a 160mm ground clearance and an adjustable rear suspension. On the other hand, the new SR 250 gets a single-cylinder, 4-stroke, 223cc engine with electronic fuel injection, which delivers 15.8bhp and 16Nm. It gets a 300mm front disc and a 210mm rear disc for braking. It also has an adjustable rear suspension. Aside from this, the bike has 160mm of ground clearance. 

Keeway SR 125, SR 250: Latest Offers

For the first 500 Keeway SR 250 deliveries, AARI announced a lottery in which five clients would receive a full refund of the ex-showroom price. The firm will also launch the 'My SR My Way' platform, which will let users express their personality through their SR models and give the SR model line a distinctive identity for each of their riders. From September 2023, this platform will be accessible on all new purchases. 

The three standard colors—Glossy White, Glossy Red, and Glossy Black—will still be easily accessible at the dealerships for both the Keeway bikes. However, now AARI will offer buyers the option pertaining to customise colours using the new platform. Interested customers can get more information about the new platform and make an order for colour customization by contacting the nearby Benelli or Keeway-approved dealers.

In addition, AARI intends to offer SR 125 and SR 250 Keeway bike accessories, including front visors, saree guards, bash plates, backrests, leg guards, seat covers, and handrails. By September 2023, the company also plans to launch an Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) that has been carefully curated for these models.
