KTM 390 Enduro R Marks Global Debut at EICMA 2024

The KTM 390 Enduro R has made its global debut at EICMA 2024, expanding the brand's off-road lineup. Built for serious off-road riders, the 390 Enduro R features a robust 390cc engine, upgraded suspension, and a lightweight frame designed to handle tough trails and rough terrain. With improved durability and performance, the bike aims to offer a more capable and versatile option for adventure enthusiasts. KTM has focused on enhancing handling and rider comfort, making the 390 Enduro R a practical choice for off-road riding. Its debut at EICMA signals KTM's ongoing push to strengthen its presence in the off-road and adventure motorcycle market.

KTM 390 Enduro R: Engine and Hardware Details

The KTM 390 Enduro R is equipped with a 399cc single-cylinder unit, mated to a six-speed transmission, the same engine setup introduced with the 390 Duke. This unit puts out 45.3bhp of maximum power and 39Nm of peak torque.

Coming to the suspension details, the bike includes WP USD forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear. For braking, the 390 Enduro R features disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS, mounted on 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke wheels, shod with tubed knobby tyres designed for enhanced off-road performance.

KTM 390 Enduro R: Design Elements

Coming to the design, the KTM 390 Enduro R boasts a hexagonal headlamp encased in a flat cowl, flanked by LED turn signals, and positioned above a raised fender. Apart from this, the KTM model features a flat tubular handlebar with lever guards for extra protection. Additional design elements come in the form of a side-mounted exhaust, a one-piece flat seat, angular body panels, a belly pan, and a striking overall appearance.

The KTM 390 Enduro R may not make its way to India. The bike is expected to have strong demand in overseas markets, especially Europe where KTM will likely concentrate its sales efforts. However, if launched here, the new 390 Enduro R would be an exciting option in the Austrian bike manufacturer's India portfolio.
