KTM has expanded its lineup in India, with models in the Naked, off-road Enduro, and Motocross segments. The dirt bike lineup includes models such as the 50 SX, 65 SX, 85 SX, 250 SX-F, and 450 SX-F. The first three motocross bikes cater to cater to young riders who want to explore off-road riding, while the remaining two target adults seeking fierce, and serious motocross bikes. In addition to these, KTM has also launched an Enduro bike, called the KTM 350 EXC-F Six Days (Rs 12.96 lakh). Let's learn in detail about the newly introduced motocross machines.

The 250 SX-F weighs 104kg and is driven by a 249.9cc single-cylinder, four-stroke engine that produces 46bhp and 26.5Nm. It features a central double-cradle steel frame, WP Xact Aer front forks, and WP Xact rear monoshocks with full adjustability.

Other notable features include launch control, a quick shifter, adjustable engine maps, and 343mm ground clearance. The 250 SX-F costs Rs 9.58 lakh. It locks horns with the Kawasaki KX250, which is less expensive at Rs 8 lakh. Both are ex-showroom prices.
The bike comes with a 449.9cc four-stroke single-cylinder unit that delivers a maximum power output of 63bhp and a peak torque of 74Nm at 9,500rpm and is paired with a 5-speed gearbox. At 107 kg, the 450 SX-F weighs only 3 kg more than the 250 SX-F. In terms of hardware, the bike has a central twin cradle frame, a 48mm adjustable fork (310mm travel), a WP XACT rear monoshock (300mm travel) a 260mm front disc, and a 220mm rear disc. The ex-showroom price of the machine is Rs 10.25 lakh. It competes with the Kawasaki KLX450R, which retails for Rs 8.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

The KTM 50 SX is powered by a 49.9cc two-stroke single-cylinder engine that produces 5.4bhp and 5.2Nm and is mated to a single-gear automatic unit. In contrast, the 65 X has a 64.9cc single-cylinder, two-stroke unit that produces 10.6bhp and is connected to a six-speed gearbox.

The 85 SX, on the other hand, is equipped with an 84.9cc single-cylinder engine that generates 16.4bhp and 14Nm and is paired with a six-speed gearbox. The prices of the 50 SX, 65 SX, and 85 SX are Rs 4.75 lakh, Rs 5.47 lakh, and Rs 6.69 lakh, respectively (all prices, ex-showroom).
