Mahindra Thar has been one of the most popular SUVs in India, and the company has now started dispatching its facelifted version to dealerships across the country. This confirms that the official launch of Mahindra Thar facelift is near. The SUV has already been seen at dealership stockyards. The familiar three-door body style remains, while Mahindra has revised the grille, bumper, and alloy wheels to distinguish the facelifted Thar from the outgoing version, keeping its core identity intact. The Thar already holds a notable position in the lifestyle SUV space, and the facelift is expected to build on that strength. How the company positions pricing and distributes features across trims will play a key role in customer response.

Inside, the facelifted Thar brings a larger touchscreen infotainment system on the centre console, offering more functions and updated features. To accommodate this, the dashboard layout has been redesigned along with repositioned air-conditioning vents. The SUV also gains a new three-spoke steering wheel, giving the driver improved control and a fresh layout within the cabin.

Additional interior changes include updated switchgear and revised controls that focus on better usability. While the seating layout is unchanged, Mahindra has added new upholstery and seat designs for improved comfort. Reports indicate that the facelift will also introduce upgraded connectivity options, aligning with increasing demand for smartphone integration.
