Moto Morini unveiled the Kanguro 300 at EICMA, reviving the dual-sport and off-road spirit with modern tech. While the international market launch is slated for the second half of 2026, there is currently no official announcement or confirmed timeline for its launch in India. The new Kanguro 300 comes in two versions: the standard Kanguro and the off-road-oriented Kanguro Rally.
The standard model sports a high-mounted front fender, while the Rally variant stands out with a low fender and a compact windshield. If you are eager to know about what the modern dual-sport Kanguro brings to the adventure segment for both newcomers and seasoned riders, read on.
The new Moto Morini Kanguro 300 preserves the spirit of its 1980s predecessor while embracing modern technology. It has a slim silhouette, a fuel tank strategically positioned under the seat for improved mass centralisation and handling, and a sharp, symmetrical headlight with linear DRLs.

The bike promises agile performance on both road and trail, and maintains a lightweight construction – 145 kg for the standard model and 153 kg for the Rally variant.
The heart of the all-new Kanguro is a 300cc liquid-cooled single engine that pumps out 34bhp and 27Nm. It is housed in a rugged chassis featuring a sturdy steel frame, an aluminium swingarm, and a rear subframe.
The bike boasts long-travel suspension with a 41mm front fork and a rear shock with progressive linkage, providing 250mm of wheel travel front and rear. It comes equipped with a 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wire-spoke wheel setup.

The Kanguro 300 comes packed with features that strengthen its dual-sport appeal. A switchable ABS gives riders the freedom to disable it for greater control on dirt trails, while full LED lighting and a compact digital display enhance the convenience.
Moto Morini has yet to announce plans to launch the Kanguro 300 in India. The brand is well-known here with models like the X-Cape and Seiemmezzo, but the Kanguro, with its sub-400cc engine, light weight, and true off-road capability, would be a strong contender in the mid-size ADV segment if it arrives.
