Coming to the specifications of the e-scooter, the Ather 450S has the same 2.9kWh lithium-ion battery as the 450 Plus, which was discontinued earlier. This battery pack is enough to provide the vehicle with an IDC (Indian Driving Conditions) range of 115-kilometre on a single charge. Similar to the 450X and the 450X Pro Pack models, the new base 450S variant will have a top speed of 90km/h. The electric motor offers a peak torque output of 26Nm and a maximum power of 8.58bhp. Furthermore, it goes from 0 to 40km/h in 3.9 seconds.

It has a new park assist switch that is located on the right handlebar. Real-world range estimates for the 450X (2.9kWh) correspond to those for the 450S; the sole distinction is that the 450X additionally has Warp mode, which reduces the range to 60-kilometre. The certified range for the all-new 450X is 111-kilometre. Notably, Ather is going to launch the 3.7kWh version of the 450X on August 23.

The 2.9kWh 450S and 450X, according to Ather, will require more than 8 and a half hours to fully charge. All scooters will come equipped with a 350-watt charger, but customers will also be able to add a 750-watt charger as an extra accessory.
