Bajaj Chetak 35 Series

Bajaj Auto has introduced new variants of its popular Chetak electric scooter, namely the Chetak 3501, 3502, and 3503, each designed to cater to different customer preferences and needs. These variants bring subtle yet significant changes to the scooter’s features and tech, ensuring a more tailored experience for riders. In terms of specifications, all variants are powered by the same 3.5kWh battery pack, providing a range of around 153 km on a single charge, with a top speed of 73km/h. With these updates, Bajaj aims to offer greater flexibility and customisation, allowing customers to choose the variant that best suits their requirements. In this article, we explore the key differences between the Chetak 3501, 3502, and 3503, helping you understand which variant is the perfect fit for you.

Bajaj Chetak 3503

The two-wheeler manufacturer has shared extensive details about the Chetak 3503 variant, though the pricing for this model has not yet been revealed. Positioned as the entry-level option in the Bajaj Chetak 35 series, the 3503 features drum brakes at both ends and lacks the TFT display, instead offering a reverse colour LCD instrument cluster. Like the mid-tier Chetak 3502, the 3503 does not include an onboard charger. However, it does come with LED lighting and 35 litre of under-seat storage.

Bajaj Chetak 3502

The Bajaj Chetak 3502 sits just below the top-of-the-line 3501 variant and is the second priciest model in the electric scooter range, with an ex-showroom price of Rs 1.20 lakh. Available in four colour schemes (Matte Charcoal Grey, Indigo Metallic, Brooklyn Black, and Cyber White), the Chetak 3502 offers a variety of choices for buyers.

Like the 3501, this variant comes with a front disc brake and rear drum brake, but it lacks the touchscreen instrument cluster and onboard charger. Instead, the 3502 features a colour TFT screen that supports turn-by-turn navigation without displaying the map. The display also provides a broader set of information.

Bajaj Chetak 3501

The Bajaj Chetak 3501 is the top-tier model in the Chetak electric scooter series, offering the most comprehensive features and the highest price. Available in five paint jobs – Hazel Nut, Pista Green, Indigo Metallic Blue, Brooklyn Black, and Matte Red – the 3501 features a front disc brake and rear drum brake. It also boasts an onboard charger as a standard feature.
